1+One: Networking for a Better World, is a NYC based “Grassroots Initiative,” seeking to bring New Yorkers into the inclusive global conversation, on sustainable development. We hope to empower our neighbors in the 5 boroughs through this information, and offer special opportunities to actively participate in UN activities.What is Agenda 2030?· Sept. 25, 2015 – Pres. Barack Obama & 192 other World Leaders adopted the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” at the UN in NYC #WordUpCreate the necessary framework, follow-up & review on progress made in implementing Goals & Targets over the next 15 yrs.· Jan. 1, 2016 – Implementing the 17 SDGs & 169 Targets #LetsDoItset of universal and transformative Goals & Targets· Promises that NO ONE will be left behind #GlobalGOALSInclusion of ALL races, colors, sexes, languages, religions, political or other opinions, national or social origins, property, birth, disabilities, & other statuses.
